Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico will inaugurate a new spa in Ponta Delgada

Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico, the five-star landmark of Ponta Delgada, whose décor is inspired by the naval heritage of the century-old Bensaude Group, is preparing to enhance its guest experience with a new wellness area.

This new SPA will provide a true sanctuary in the heart of Ponta Delgada, while also marking a new chapter for the hotel. The project aims to further strengthen its successful concept, rooted in blending contemporary sophistication and the rich history of Ponta Delgada’s most iconic hotel.

Designed by Sequeira Dias Arquitects, the project was conceived to deepen the hotel’s aesthetic story.

Inspired by the century-old legacy of the Empresa Insulana de Navegação, the new SPA will naturally extend the hotel’s nautical theme and its distinctive mid-century (1960s) design style.
