Parque Terra Nostra Promotes an Experience of Pause, Well-Being, and Reconnection with Nature
InstitutionalParque Terra Nostra hosted “Respirar – Wellness Edition 2026”, an immersive experience dedicated to well-being, nature, and reconnecting with the senses, inviting participants to slow down, listen, and experience its gardens in a different way.
Throughout the experience, a variety of practices focused on physical and mental well-being came together in some of the Garden’s most iconic settings, creating a journey of discovery and pause immersed in nature. Through movement, breathing, meditation, and connection with the forest, each moment was designed to offer a mindful experience deeply rooted in the surrounding landscape.
Yoga, Mindful Movement, Qi Gong, meditation, Forest Bathing, and Sound Bath were part of a program led by local and international experts, offering participants the opportunity to explore different dimensions of well-being through the body, mind, and senses. The Garden’s natural environment played a central role in the experience, with each setting integral to a journey designed to encourage slowing down and being present in the moment.
The experience also included tea tastings featuring tea grown in the greenhouse, as well as a welcome gift, further enhancing the event’s intimate, sensory nature. More than a program of activities, “Respirar” is a concept inviting participants to experience Parque Terra Nostra mindfully, finding in nature, silence, and thermal waters a space for pause and renewal.
This connection between well-being, nature, and place lies at the heart of the event, allowing each edition to explore new ways of Breathing in the Garden.
Through this initiative, Parque Terra Nostra deepens its connection to nature and wellness tourism, creating experiences that celebrate the Azores’ natural heritage and encourage a closer, more mindful connection with the destination.
