Bensaude Hotels' film ‘A Ilha’ wins five gold awards

The film ‘A Ilha’ (The Island), by Bensaude Hotels, was awarded 5 Gold Awards in the latest edition of the Lusophone Creativity Awards - 3rd and final quarter of 2025. Produced by Lobby Films & Advertising, and directed by Telmo Martins, the project won in the categories of Direction, Cinematography, Tourism Film, Social Media Film and Branded Content Film, establishing itself as one of the most awarded campaigns of this edition.

"A Ilha" (The Island) is a deeply sensory and poetic film that shows the identity of the Azores and the universe of Bensaude Hotels, a 90-year-old brand that is part of the Bensaude Group, with over 200 years of history.

The film invites the viewer on a journey filled with the emotions, colours, smells and textures of the Azores, elements intrinsically linked to the Bensaude Hotels’ experience. In it, you can feel the mystical fog, the unmistakable aroma of the sea, the cool mountain breeze and the vibrant scent of the Azorean nature.

Created in 2013, the Lusophone Creativity Awards are now one of the most prestigious and consistent festivals in the Lusophone advertising space. With renowned international juries, a rigorous evaluation system and a quarterly competition structure, the festival stands out for its creative demands, technical rigour and the way it celebrates the excellence of brands that communicate in Portuguese on all continents.
