The most friendly hotel. The whole team across the whole hotel were very helpful and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. They all had a smile on their faces. The food in the lounge bar was very good and the breakfast buffet was certainly worth getting up for. Great location as well.
 

Came here for our honeymoon and we were blown away by the service, the rooms, and the overall attentiveness of the staff. The views are hard to beat and we loved how walkable everything was from this hotel! Highly recommend for anyone to stay at in Azores!
 

A truly fantastic hotel. Everything about it was five star. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. Especially the fish soup which I loved. The room had everything you could possibility need. I can highly recommend this first class hotel.

The staff at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico is very friendly, helpful and assists with the planning and booking of excursions. The fitness studio is spacious and adequate. The pool is large enough to swim laps. I can only recommend the Balcony Restaurant. The atmosphere in the Vapore Bar is excellent with live lounge music. The location is first class. Super panorama over the harbor and the Atlantic. The center is within walking distance, as are the botanical gardens and the pineapple plantation.
 

This location is beyond amazing, the staff are welcoming and so helpful , the rooms are beautiful and the beds are soft and very comfortable! The pool is very nice and couldn’t be happier with our visit. The bar is great and the restaurant is the best on the Island.
 

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Ponta Delgada. The staff is polite and helpful and the service at the hotel is Great. Delicious breakfast along with a fun bar in the lobby with live music and excellent drinks.
 

The best hotel in Ponta Delgada. We were stopping by this island for one day and best choice we made. Beautiful clean room and luxurious bedding. Hotel staff are all friendly and professional . What a great location! 8 min from the airport and you can walk to the major town with restaurants and shopping. Ours came with the breakfast buffet and food was really good. As we leave early to the airport, they prepared coffee bar with pastry, just for us. Value is incredible and we really had an amazing time. Highly recommend this hotel.
 

We had an amazing day at this hotel! Our favorite part, hands down, was the Ocean pool across the street. Every morning we would wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet, then immediately grabbed towels and go across the street for a glorious swim in the saltwater open pool.
 

Excellent hotel and gorgeous interior! Few minutes from town center, fantastic breakfast! Bed was extremely comfortable and all the pillows were great! There’s a valet for the car, which was a great! Would definitely stay here again!
 

Just back home after a week at this lovely hotel. The view was fantastic. Service amazing. Breakfast very good. Valet guys were awesome and very kind I would highly recommend anyone coming the this beautiful green island to stay here!
 

Thank you for a wonderful experience. All staff were excellent, warm and friendly. even prior to our arrival the email responsiveness (Jessica and Catarina) were very considerate and helpful. All in all an excellent experience and would strongly recommend it as the hotel of choice in São Miguel.
 

We had a delightful stay in this beautiful hotel right across from the marina. Lovely buffet breakfast each day! Every detail was taken care off we really enjoyed the hotel and it was close to all we wanted to see in the little town. Also close enough to walk to the presidential palace gardens.
 

One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The service here is incredible they will do everything for you and make your trip easier. Francisca went beyond the call of duty to help us out with day trips and dinner reservations. I will always remember my comfortable stay in the Azores while staying at the Grand Hotel.
 

This hotel deserves more than 5 stars. It is the best hotel we have stayed in! The service was out of this world, there wasn’t a detail missed. It was my birthday during our stay and they delivered champagne and dessert to our room, then they got us into the restaurant without reservations. The hotel restaurant was amazing, I had the truffle risotto which was to die for. If you have the chance to stay here definitely do.
 

We were told this was one of the nicest hotels on the island! We were very happy and have no complaints. The view is of the ocean harbor side with swim platform out front. There is a hotel spa like pool. Excellent buffet in the morning included. A small gym and excellent staff who helped book our tours and dinner reservations. Enjoy your stay! We did!

We truly enjoyed out stay at the Grand Hotel. It was in a very convenient location in the city for walking to any restaurants and attractions. The front desk staff were very helpful with getting us taxis. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great. 
The room was very clean. We had an ocean view and it had a nice balcony where we enjoyed watching boats coming into the harbor. You can also get a towel from the front desk and swim with the locals in the "natural" swimming pool that is directly across the street from the hotel. I recommend doing that and then going to the hotel's indoor pool for a warmer dip!
 

Escolhemos o Grand Hotel em Ponta Delgado para a nossa estadia na cidade. Foi uma escolha muito sábia. O quarto era excelente e bem conservado. O serviço em toda a estadia foi excelente. A localização era ótima.
A vista para o mar era linda. Se algum dia voltarmos a Ponta Delgado, ficaremos lá novamente. Eu recomendo que você também o faça.
