We loved our stay! Definitely stay here if you want to relax without worrying about crowds. The access to the pool and garden after the general public was amazing. There were a few times where we were the only ones in the pool/jacuzzi. The rooms were on the smaller side, but comfortable. The breakfast is okay in terms of food options, but the service is excellent. The Gardener Bar had great food and live music at night. Overall the staff is so nice and always willing to help. The location is great, very easy to get in and out to explore the rest of the island (parking on site is a plus).
 

I was totally surprised by this fine hotel. The Terra Nostra Garden Hotel is a gem. Beautiful and comfortable rooms with surprise treats appearing every day made for the perfect place to explore São Miguel island in the Azores. Wonderful breakfasts and an excellent restaurant for drinks and dinner. The staff was attentive, and my wife and I enjoyed the hotel. Oh, my wife wants me to mention that there is a superb spa.
 

Really great service, friendly and efficient staff, very nice rooms and bathrooms. Hotel owns the Terra Nostra Park that it’s set in so free access 24 hours for guests. What stood out the most for me was the Sushi restaurant. The best Sushi I’ve ever eaten anywhere. Highly talented chef and great waiter.
 

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The gardens are simply amazing and having full access to the as a hotel guest as well as private access after public closing times was so fun. The hot bath springs are such a nice way to relax. The hotel itself is beautiful with spotless and well equipped rooms. The staff is very attentive and kind. The breakfast is really good as well. I could go on an on. This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at and it's really special.
 

Lovely hotel in sweet little town. Hotel is very pretty, the gardens are beautiful, the pool and jacuzzi's relaxing, the bar and restaurant very good - and the rooms are clean, comfortable and so nice. Highly recommend. Don't miss drinks in the lounge - especially impressive. Breakfast buffet is wonderful. Concierge was helpful. Would absolutely return. Love it.
 

It should have 5 stars. The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, the bar is cosy with good food and good cocktails, the park is beautiful, you have access to the gym, the pool and the hot springs! One of the best place I stayed!
 

Loved this place and will be back some day. The gardens are like nothing I’ve ever seen. Well maintained and enchanting. Plants and trees are marked. The thermal baths were a relaxing way to end the day. The orchid gardens were a mystery however. It seems they were undergoing renovation. The restaurant at the hotel served excellent food and the service was exceptional.
 

We have travelled all over the world over many years and I can say that Terra Nostra is one of the very best we have ever enjoyed. Service, comfort, superb food, pools, and the unique and gorgeous garden, all great. Thank you for a wonderful five days that even the rain couldn't spoil.
 

We have stayed at this hotel 5 times and it never fails to deliver. Love the updates to the lounge and the addition of a new sushi restaurant. The new changing pavilion is gorgeous

Segunda visita a este hotel no meio do paraíso. Simpatia e formação de todo o staff, quartos fantásticos, possibilidade de passeio no Parque Terra Nostra a qualquer hora e mergulhar na piscina natural, é uma experiência indescritível. Fica sempre a vontade de voltar. Primeiro vez pequeno almoço foi à carta, desta vez em regime buffet, ambos muito diferenciados e perfeitos. Refeições de excelente qualidade e cuidado. Apetece voltar uma e outra vez!
