A very beautiful hotel and a good starting point for exploring the island. With a rental car, you can get anywhere within 20-30 minutes. All your needs and concerns are lovingly taken care of, and the view of the sea is beautiful every day. You simply have to enjoy the fresh fish served daily in different variations.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel perched on the cliffs of Caloura. Very quiet and relaxing, with lovely gardens and direct access to the sea. Rooms are simple but comfortable—we had a ground-floor room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Staff were very helpful and quick to resolve a corridor smell when we arrived. Restaurant was hit-and-miss, but service made up for it. You’ll need a car, but there’s plenty of free parking. Overall a lovely stay—would return and recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Gorgeous scenic views right on the coast. Easy walk to the beach and beach bar. Need a car to get mostly anywhere else. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was fine, with enough options.

This place blew us away. We had an amazing time here, 6 night stay. Afonso, Henrigue and Emanuel were the stars of our hotel stay/service. If I ever go back to the Azores I am booking this hotel again without a doubt. Also somewhat centrally located to the rest of the island on the south side, which made a great base to visit all the of the beautiful experiences the Azores has to offer.

Stayed here in off-season of early December. Fantastic, mild weather for hiking and sightseeing...and much smaller crowds. The resort is spotlessly clean and the rooms and common areas are airy and spacious. All rooms have ocean views and there's also a lovely, Mediterrean-style, tiered garden with a winding path down to the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is quite good...and for all those who love breakfast, the massive breakfast buffet is not to be missed.

Beautiful resort with spectacular views on the Atlantic Ocean. We visited for a week in January. Overall the rooms and common spaces and even the outside areas were super neat and clean. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. You will need a car to get here but there's plenty of free parking outside. Overall great place to stay on Sao Miguel, also conveniently located close to many nice hikes and sights.
